Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, José Gregorio Graterol studied Fashion Design in Florence, Italy. He also studied Architecture, Interior, Landscape, Lighting and Floral Designs, Painting, Hair & Makeup and Window Displays during his career in the fashion industry. He humbly combines all of his studies and work history into custom event and floral designs. His knowledge is so vast, he is often referred to as the interior designer of the event!”
José has made stunning floral arrangements for Gianni Versace, Madonna, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Sylvester Stallone, Celia Cruz, Puff Daddy, Julio Iglesias, Sofia Vergara, Laura Bush, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton, Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump.

Steve Levine graduated from Cornell and combines his love of art history and his past career in the antiques business into managing Jose Graterol Designs. Steve is a certified wedding and event planner, and finds great joy in helping clients to custom craft their event from start to finish.
Get to know Steve: He loves Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, and Pilates. He is a Pescatarian. He loves going to antiques shops and flea markets, especially to look for pieces to add to his 1950s Higgins Glass Collection. Steve loves to talk, and listen too!

José won 3 awards in national, juried competitions from Event Solutions in Las Vegas for “Floral Designer of the Year” in 2013 and 2016 and “Designer, Creative Director of the Year” in 2016.
He has 2 brothers name José too! Thankfully, they each have different middle names.
José designed the 2 custom dance floors at The Breakers, Palm Beach, wedding of Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello.
José designed the magical gala for Engage!15 Wedding Summits at the Four Seasons Orlando in 2015.
Jose produces stunning home interior designs. It started with a bride’s mother who said, “If this event is for one night, I can only imagine how my home would look with your creativity and eye for detail!”
José’s first claim to fame was that he designed the dress for Barbara Palacios when she won Miss Universe in 1986. It was blue and had rhinestone pave dragonfly clips at the bustline.
During the 2020 quarantine, he colored his mom’s hair several times and gave her daily blowouts, too!
José can read lips and he foresees the future accurately!
